A magnificent suit of armor in ni mai dō in the kebiki odoshi style, Edo period (1603 - 1868)

Consisting of 64plate koboshi kabutō with a bowl in the form of a goshózan bachi sign. "Myōchin...", with relatively large fukigaeshi covered with printed egawa deerskin, with the kamon family crest in the form of a plum blossom, a seven-piece tehen kanamono and a nice gilded maedate helmet frontal crest in the form of a demonic creature kijin. The shikoro is four-piece, in the kiritsuke style and with mimi ito on the edge of the lowest slat. The osode shoulder guards have the upper part covered with printed egawa deerskin, the elaborate gilded fukurin fittings are made in the ji sukashi style and scales of sode are finished with mimi ito. They are joined by  a decorative agemaki knot, attached to the agemaki no kan ring on the back of the armor. The very high-quality menpo face mask is in the sabiji design in the me no shita bo style. The kiritsuke kozane do, like the rest of the armor, is laced with dark blue odoshi ito, with black lacquered slats. Some exposed steel sabiji parts are partially gilded by nunome zōgan technique. Tsutsu kote are in sabiji design. Kusazuri are divided into seven streams, the armour set is completed by haidate and tsutsu suneate.
